Fame!
Our next topic is Fame. The children enjoyed James Mayhew's Katie in London so much, during our topic on London, that we have decided to use some of his other story books all about famous paintings and artists. Katie is a little girl who first visits a gallery with her Grandma. She discovers that art is wonderfully exciting, especially when the paintings she finds come alive for her!
We are going to step into the world inside the frames just like Katie did! Along the way we will learn about many famous artists and the countries they come from.
